How to Reload Another (or Other) Digi Prepaid Number via SMS

By | October 10, 2014

Here’s a quick way to reload or add credits on someone’s Digi prepaid number simply by sending an SMS.

I’m sharing this easy tip because I was helping someone adding credits to his Digi prepaid this morning. I remember I did this before but forgotten how to. A quick Google search didn’t return any accurate result on the first or second row of the search results, so I hope this article would.

Anyway, it’s actually quite easy and straightforward. First you’ll need to purchase the reload code either online or from a shop near you. I always buy mine online via Maybank2u as it’s fast and I can do it from anywhere as long as I have internet connection.

Once you have the reload code, use the steps below:

Like, Tweet or +1 to reveal this free content, we will not bite, we promise.
and press SEND/CALL.

For example:

To reload a voucher with a 16-digit PIN (e.g. 1234567890123456) into a DiGi mobile number (e.g. 0161234567) you would key in:

Remember to press Dial/Call after entering the above. If the reload is successful, you will get a confirmation from Digi almost immediately. The other person will also get a notification via SMS.

If you want to reload your own Digi prepaid:

Type *123*<your 14 or 16-digit reload PIN># and press SEND/CALL.

For example:

To reload a voucher with a 16-digit PIN (e.g. 1234567890123456) into your own number:

*123*3456789123456#

Remember to press Dial/Call after entering the above. If the reload is successful, you will get a confirmation from Digi almost immediately.

For some reason, I checked on my Google analytics data and people are searching for ways to hack the Digi reload coupon. Don’t do this guys!

It’s so easy so if you find this guide useful, please remember to Like, +1 or Tweet below!

By the way, you can now buy mobile credits using PayPal here.
