How to Buy or Shop Online from MUJI Malaysia

If you live outside of the Klang Valley, you may find it troublesome to buy something online from MUJI Malaysia. Here’s how I can help you.

MUJI is now entering its 5th year in Malaysia but but sadly many people are not able to get MUJI products easily because all the 7 stores are only located in the Klang Valley.

There may be plans to open MUJI in other cities like Penang, Johor Bahru, Kuching or Kota Kinabalu.

While most major retailers provide online shopping facilities, I’m quite surprised that MUJI Malaysia doesn’t have any online store.

MUJI is known for its simplistic and yet high quality products. It’s very similar to IKEA. The big difference is that they also sell clothes and beauty products.

Here’s how I can help you. I will be your personal shopper to help you shop whatever items you need from MUJI Malaysia. You can now officially shop online for MUJI Malaysia.

Let me do all the hard work while you place your orders online, submit your shopping list to me and you wait for your items to arrive at your chosen destination.

What are my charges?

My fees cover transportation, time and all necessary services to get your items delivered to your doorstep.

The charges are subject to what you’re ordering – I promise it will be inexpensive! I’ll provide you with a free quote.

How about Refund?

If the item you wish to order is not available, I will refund right away.

When do I shop?

I visit the MUJI stores when needed as they are not too far from me.

Why do I provide this service?

I understand that there’s a growing demand for MUJI’s products around the country but unfortunately MUJI’s stores are only located in Kuala Lumpur and you don’t have the option to buy them on MUJI’s website.

Since I am currently running an online business from home, I have some free time available to provide this service to those who need it.

Why should you use my service?

  • Save time = time is money!
  • No need to drive or fly to KL!
  • Avoid queuing
  • No need to pay toll, parking etc.
  • No stress!
  • Enjoy shopping online at the comfort of your home or office

How can you start shopping online for MUJI’s products?

It’s easy, simply browse the online catalog here, and contact me via WhatsApp on what you need.

I’ll be in touch with you to finalize your orders.

Alternatively, you can send your order list to contact@lifeinmy.com.

Please provide as much details as possible to make sure your orders will be processed correctly.

If you need more details please feel free to leave your comments below, Whatsapp me at +6010-2597946 or email contact@lifeinmy.com. I speak fluent Malay, English and Mandarin.

Don’t wait, let me help get MUJI stuff for you!

Need Something from Sephora? Hire a Personal Shopper Here

Do you need something from Sephora Malaysia? Why not hire a personal shopper to help you shop? Find out more here.

Sephora is almost every woman’s shopping haven because they can get most of the beauty products there.

The first Sephora in Malaysia was opened in Kuala Lumpur. Currently there are not less than 5 Sephora stores in Malaysia and more are opening soon in various cities.

What if you need a particular item from Sephora but it’s too far from you?

You can consider hiring a personal shopper to do it for you.

Personal shopper is someone who can help you buy anything you need from where the personal shopper is located.

They usually charge for a small fee to help you buy and have the item mailed to you. It’s a convenience especially if the brand doesn’t have online store, or if the item is out of stock at your local Sephora.

How would you know if the personal shopper is reliable? You will need to check the rating, the website, the reviews and of course if the website has the actual photo of the person you need to deal with.

One example is Grace Cao’s personal shopping service. She helps people to purchase anything that’s related to fashion and beauty products.

It’s important to choose someone who’s into fashion and understands beauty products from Sephora so that she would be able to get you the correct item and even additional advise.

If you’re looking for to hire a personal shopper to buy something from Sephora Malaysia, consider Grace Cao right now. She can be reached at her website.

Review of Hankook Ventus V2 (H457) Concept2 Tyres in Malaysia

Planning to get these Korean tyres? Read my unbiased review here before making that decision.

hankook_v2_malaysia

The odometer of my car is already clocking more than 55,000km and tyre replacement was already long due. I recently had huge financial commitment so I wanted to look for good tyres which are good and would fit my budget.

I’m very much an internet person so instead of going to tyre shops directly, I’d check the prices online first.

I browsed on Mudah to find my tyre size which is 205/55R16. The original tyre fitted onto my car was from Yokohama and I know this Japanese brand would cost around RM300-400 a piece.

There are not many tyres available for this size on Mudah. I found the Hankook Ventus V2 (H457) sold by Rabbit Tyre in Petaling Jaya for RM215 each.

After checking some reviews on a few US tyre websites such as this, I was already quite decisive that it’s the tyre that I’m going to buy.

I own a Lexus CT200h purchased in 2013 and despite driving it for 3 years, I still love this car. It’s super quiet and great on highway. It’s just wasn’t so great with the old tyres because they became very noisy.

After getting the tyres replaced at Rabbit Tyre in SS2, they provided a free alignment which I haven’t done for quite some time. They have a high tech alignment equipment using infrared sensors, something I haven’t really seen before.

So are these tyres any good at all?

Firstly, these tyres are very quiet and they complement nicely with my hybrid car. On highways, it feels as though my car is gliding with minimal noise from the road. The wind noise actually became more apparent.

I briefly tried driving the car at 140km/h and tyre grip is very good. Since it hasn’t rain yet, I’m not able to tell how the tyres would perform.

Although it’s a Korean brand, you may want to know that it’s made in Indonesia. This doesn’t really bother me as tyre quietness is really what I’m aiming for.

I’ll provide more reviews once the tyres have reached around 1,000km. It’s really too soon to tell because I wrote this review just a few hours after returning from the tyre shop.

Got any question? Please leave your comments below.

Rat Found on Newly Made Bread at Komugi’s MidValley Kuala Lumpur

Malaysians are being surprised again by a rat found inside Komugi’s MidValley. Read the story here.

rat_komugi_malaysia

Based on Facebook Melon Roux posting on October 23:

It’s been awhile since I’ve went to this bakery store to buy their pastries… while I was feeling so happy choosing my pastries, EuGene Tan suddenly shouted ‘holyshit’! I was surprised and asked what happened but he never answered me but keep starring at the tray of breads infront of him. When I look towards what he was looking at, i was stunned for a second! Returned all the pastries that was on my tray and told one of the staff about this. Hopefully in the future they will be more alert

Rats in Malaysia are huge and can be scary too. Even cats are scared of them.

That’s the reason why I would like to provide this service here with a bit of fees charged by PayPal.

You can purchase it online here and I will help you top-up credits for the following carrier using PayPal as payment:

Renew Your Malaysia Passport Online using MyOnline Passport

Do you know that you can now renew your Malaysia passport online? Find out how to do it here.

malaysia_passport_online_renewal

Soon, queuing at the immigration department will be a thing of a past.

The Malaysian immigration department is setting up an online system to enable Malaysians to renew their passport without having to queue at the immigration office.

The web based system can be accessed even through mobile phone which makes it super convenient.

MyOnline Passport was made available from September 1 in the following location:

  • Pahang
  • Sarawak
  • Penang
  • Putrajaya
  • UTC Pudu Sentral, Kuala Lumpur
  • UTC Galleria@Kotaraya, Johor

Technically, all you have to do is to access the website, fill up all the necessary fields and select which office you would like to collect your passport from.

For instance, if you access it in Penang, you’re allowed to collect it from Putrajaya.

Currently there’s no detailed instructions on how to renew your passport online using the MyOnline Passport system yet, but as soon as the information is available you will find it here.

The link to the portal is here.

Payment can also be made online by using either a debit card or credit card.

I will do step-by-step instructions if possible.

This is really great and makes so much sense since we all live in a connected world.
